Have you ever wonder why we happy when we get some sweets? Especially Ice Cream?! Who doesn’t love ice cream right? How about Gelato? Yes… So, do you know the difference of Ice Cream and Gelato? They are both equally popular frozen desserts.
Ice cream is sweet, airier and mostly made of cream. Maybe some of you didn’t know that they mostly contains egg yolk to make it more fine crystal texture. Ice Cream must be stored chill. It also contains more fat percentage than Gelato.
Whereas Gelato is smoother, silkier texture and made with whole milk rather than cream. So it is stored a bit warmer than Ice Cream. If you are on low calorie diet but still want to indulge your craving, Gelato is the perfect for you. I can say that Gelato tastes much better than Ice Cream – sorry Ice Cream. But…both is equally delicious! 😁

So, yesterday my husband bought me to this new Gelato stall named Mokti’s Signature at Vivacity Megamall Kuching. We bought this delicious gelato with this unique flavour named ‘Kaymak’ which mean the milk of the water buffalos in the East, which the seller said ;creamy dairy product from Turkey. It tastes so good and delicious! It is so much creamier than vanilla texture, and melts in your mouth! My advice? If there is new flavour introduced to you, you must taste it.
They have plenty of other unique flavours such as Kaymak, Milo, Dragonfruit, Lemon Sorbeto, Ginger beer, Berries Chillie Sorbeto, Terung Asam (Sour Eggplant), Snickers, Apong Mengkalak (Brown sugar), Teh tarik (Milk tea), Tim Tam, Pistachios, Almond, Strawberry, Matcha (Green tea), and last but not least classic flavour of all time; Vanilla bean.

Next, we also bought this cute mini Gelato Stick. They have 2 flavour; chocolate & vanilla, topped with crushed pistachios. We can add on the toppings available which is their own Mokti’s Chocolate sauce and Mokti’s crunchy flakes. The combination is amazing.
